Voice of Democracy Scholarship Contest 

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) invites students to participate in the Voice of Democracy Scholarship Contest! This year’s theme is:

“How Are You Showing Patriotism and Support for Our Country?”

Students will prepare and record a 3–5 minute audio essay to share their perspectives.

 Prizes:

• The national winner will receive a $35,000 scholarship!
• Winners from each local VFW will advance through district and state levels.
• State first-place finalists will travel to Washington, D.C. to compete nationally.
