2025 WHS Homecoming Dance FAQ's

🎉🏈THE 2025 WHS HOMECOMING DANCE FAQ’s🕺💃

Date & Time:

  • Saturday, October 11th, 6:00PM–9:00PM 
  • All attendees must arrive by 7:00PM and stay until at least 8:00PM

Location:

  • Dance will take place at Williamstown High School: Two Cafeterias, Courtyard (weather permitting), Wigwam
  • WHS Address: 700 N. Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown, NJ 08094
  • Enter the dance through H Wing (H22) near the Gym Parking Lot

Who Can Attend:

  • WHS students in grades 9–12 only. No outside guests are allowed.

Ticket Information:

  • Cost: $30 per person, Purchase Dates: Saturday 9/27-Monday 10/6
  • How to Buy: A link was sent to your student email with the subject “Homecoming Dance”. This includes the Google Form permission slip.
  • Monday 10/6 is the last day to have the permission slip AND payment done on the online portal emailed to Student E-mail.
    • If you didn’t receive the email, contact your grade-level Assistant Principal.
    • 9th Grade: John Gryckiewicz, 10th Grade: Kellyn Torcasio 
    • 11th Grade: Michelle Sanchirico, 12th Grade: Kathy McKinney 
  • Homecoming T-Shirts: Included with early ticket purchase while supplies last; Homecoming T-Shirts are only available to students attending the dance.

Dress Code:

  • Acceptable: Khakis, dress pants, collared/polo shirts, dresses, rompers, pantsuits, ties (optional), sneakers, dress shoes, sandals, flats, heels
  • Unacceptable: Jeans, pajamas, sweatpants, hoodies, t-shirts, crop tops, jean/mesh/cargo shorts, backpacks

What to Bring:

  • School Photo ID (to sign into dance)
  • You will have to show the digital ticket that can be downloaded to your phone from GoBound

Included in Ticket Price:

  • Included: Drink & Food, DJ, dancing, Photo Booths
  • The company CADY will be taking pictures at the event and there will be a Homecoming backdrop available for students to take pictures in front of if they choose

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Behavioral: Less  than 100 disciplinary points; must remain eligible until the day of the dance
  • Academic: Must be academically eligible
  • Attendance: No more than 13 unexcused absences
  • Obligations: No outstanding fines, lost books, or technology obligations

Refund Policy:

  • No refunds once purchased unless there is an extenuating circumstance:
  • Refunds are not permitted if you become ineligible for the dance!
  • Refund requests must be emailed to both:

Safety & Conduct:

  • No smoking, alcohol, illegal drugs, or banned substances. Breathalyzer screening will be conducted at entry.
  • All WHS rules and policies apply. Students are expected to represent the school positively.

Lost Items:

  • WHS Student Council is not responsible for personal belongings.
