Halloween Expectations

Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,

Tomorrow is Halloween and the traditional day that students are permitted to dress up in Halloween costumes. Please adhere to the following guidelines as you prepare for this festive day. 

All costumes must align with regular dress code rules. This means that shorts must be fingertip length; you must wear sleeves on shirts; and no bare midriff. No weapons or imitation weapons will be permitted in school.  

We must be able to identify all students by their faces. Masks and full face paint are not permitted. Hats are permitted as long as they are a part of the costume. Students are still required to wear their school-issued ID badges on a lanyard around their necks. 

High School administration reserves the right to deem a costume as inappropriate. Students who are wearing inappropriate costumes will have to change before returning to their classes.
