List of Honor Societies

Summary The National Honor Society recognizes Williamstown High School juniors who have demonstrated excellence in character, scholarship, leadership, and service.

Highlights

  • Minimum weighted GPA of 90
  • Average of 2 school sports/activities per year
  • Average of 3 community service activities per year
  • Two leadership roles required (no title necessary)
  • Character reviewed by WHS staff
  • Applications open at the start of junior year

Summary A nationally recognized honor society open to all grades, for students interested in the Spanish language and the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries.

Highlights

  • Open to all grade levels
  • Requires an 87 or higher average in Spanish class
  • Meetings are held in English — bilingual fluency is not required to join
