Student Parking

Everything student drivers need for the 2026–2027 school year, including required forms, parking contracts, permit steps, and campus driving expectations.

Before You Apply

Driving to school is a privilege. Students must complete all required documentation and meet WHS eligibility requirements before a parking space can be assigned.

Transportation Waiver required: Every student applying for a WHS parking permit must submit the 2026–2027 Transportation Waiver.

Read the contract

Review the senior or junior parking contract in full.

Complete the waiver

Submit the required district transportation waiver.

Submit the form

Complete the appropriate parking permit Google Form.

Bring documents

Provide a New Jersey driver's license, vehicle registration, and active insurance.

Pay the fee

The parking fee is $40, as outlined in the parking contract.

Parking by Grade Level

Class of 2027

Senior Parking

  • Senior parking eligibility begins at 85 earned credits.
  • Students must meet WHS attendance, academic, conduct, and obligation requirements.
  • Review the current senior contract before submitting the parking permit form.
Class of 2028

Junior Parking

  • Junior parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis when spaces remain and requires a valid New Jersey driver's license.
  • Junior parking eligibility begins at 60 earned credits.
  • Follow WHS announcements regarding current permit availability.

Driving & Parking Expectations

Student drivers are expected to follow the posted traffic pattern, use their assigned parking space, and follow all WHS safety rules while on campus.

  • 15 mph is the speed limit on school property.
  • Stop and remain stopped for pedestrians in crosswalks.
  • Display the assigned parking tag and park only in the assigned space.
  • Do not access vehicles or parking lots during the school day without administrative authorization.
  • Student parking in Owens Park during school hours is prohibited.
