WHS Drama Club Wraps Up an Incredible Week at the International Thespian Festival
Over the past five days, members of the Williamstown High School Drama Club have embraced an unforgettable journey of learning, performance, collaboration, and artistic growth at the International Thespian Festival.

From participating in musical theatre solo competitions and attending workshops on props, costume design, dramaturgy, leadership, audition techniques, and careers in the performing arts, our students have immersed themselves in every opportunity to expand their craft. They even stepped into the world of Disney auditioning, explored choreography during a dynamic CATS dance workshop, and continued developing their skills alongside fellow thespians from across the country.
Beyond the workshops and competitions, our students experienced the power of live theatre through inspiring mainstage productions including Come From Away, Shrek, SUFFS, and Dear Evan Hansen. One of the week's proudest moments came when Williamstown's own Cameron Mandola led a workshop for more than 40 thespians, representing both our Drama Club and Monroe Township Public Schools with outstanding leadership and professionalism.

To cap off their final full day, students had the incredible opportunity to meet the Tony Award-winning songwriting team of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul following the performance of Dear Evan Hansen—a memorable experience that perfectly concluded an extraordinary week!
We are incredibly proud of our students for the passion, dedication, and hard work they have demonstrated throughout this experience. The lessons learned, friendships formed, and inspiration gained over the past week will undoubtedly continue to shape them long after they return home.

Congratulations to our Williamstown High School Drama Club on an exceptional week—we can't wait to see all that you bring back to the stage. 💙🎭
